Sequence Memory Test

The sequence memory test is all about testing and challenging your brain’s learning and recalling abilities. This is particularly helpful for students who have a hard time remembering what they studied. Having to study and remember so many subjects can be a daunting task. As they begin to learn something new, they start forgetting the things they learned in the past, which is probably due to weaker memorization capability.

Our brain’s hippocampus region, amygdala, and neocortex are responsible for storing and organizing memories, and this test can help you sharpen these parts of your brain. This test presents a row of boxes arranged in a 3x3 grid, sort of like a tic-tac-toe. When the test begins, some of those boxes will light up in a particular sequence. You will have to remember the sequence, from how it started to how it ended. After that, it will ask you to light up the boxes in the same pattern as they were shown.

If you guess the sequence correctly, you will win the game and score some points. How many points you get will depend on how many boxes you check correctly in a sequence. With regular practice, you can get a higher score and help make your brain’s memory capabilities stronger.
